Currently May

I had fully intended to link up sooner but this has been a very busy month.  Seriously!  I don't know where to find time.  I had full intentions of posting the Currently from Oh'Boy 4th Grade but time has gone...where?  I really could not tell you.

I created this yesterday.

Listening: As I was working on the lap top he was sharing his plans for the day of what he hopes we could do together.  Sweet.

Loving: Twitter.  I have been reading posts every day now.  I am using it as a PLC.  I am inspired by all the wonderful teachers.  There are so many teachers that are such an inspiration!  Really and truly.

Thinking:  I was thinking on Saturday that I should go into work.  I did this morning.  Sunday morning most people are snug in their beds. I went into the school. It was amazing.  I feel planned for the week, caught up on some of my marking and went through a pile of papers. I made a plan for myself not to stay longer then lunch.  I stuck to it.  Want to know a secret?  I ran through the halls of the school!  Just once from the photocopier to my classroom.  Just because I could!

Wanting: More time with my students.  They move on to high school in just a few weeks. I am enjoying this group of students so much that I do wish I had more time with them.

Needing: Grade assistance! I am currently using Evernote for my anecdotal notes but I don't feel like it is quite working for me.  Suggestions?

Summer Bucket List:  I have been inspired by Dan Meyer.  Read his blog if you have not had the chance.  He has lessons and videos included.  Math that is real life.  I hope to use some of my time off to do this.  Check out his blog if you have not had the chance!  Amazing.

  1. I know I need more time too! With the end of the year coming, it's hard to say, we'll push that until tomorrow...there aren't too many tomorrows left! I hope to do a lot of reading this summer myself!
